Come meet me at Fan Expo San Francisco!
And, you know, a bunch of actors and comics people, too!
The thing about writing professionally is that every time you “level up” and achieve something new, there’s another step. You never really “make it” to the top—not even Scalzi or Bear or Gaiman are ever done growing and changing. And each new goal brings new neuroses and worries—unless you’re Scalzi; that guy has an amazing level of confidence I can only aspire to.
But still, each new step brings happy thoughts, too. And for me, this is one of them: On November 25th, 26th, and 27th, I’ll be appearing at FanExpo’s San Francisco show. I’ll be at a table in Author Alley, selling books, signing books, and meeting fans—and hopefully making some new ones.
I’ll also be appearing on at least one panel; that part is still being worked out and I’ll send out a schedule as soon as that’s finalized. But the fun part will be meeting readers, telling them why they might like my stuff (if they don’t have the good taste to already be a fan), and just generally geeking out with people.
So if you can, come down and say hello! I look forward to seeing you.
